Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care, on Thursday, August 5, 2010 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Frederick John Patrick Furey. Loving mother of Jessie (Janet) and her husband Sterling Stewart. Dear grandmother of Marguerite (Maggie) Lopez, Wayne Adam and his wife Mona, Kimberly and her husband Michael Byrne. Dear great grandmother of Manuel and Gabriela Lopez, Parker, Duncan and Madeleine Byrne, Sabrina and Allison Adam. Pre-deceased by her parents James O'Handley and Mary Wilmot, six siblings, son Frederick and son-in-law Frank Adam.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 1-4 p.m. Sunday. (Parish Prayers 1 p.m. Sunday.) Funeral Mass in ST. ALPHONSUS CHURCH on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 11 a.m. Cremation followed by a private family interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
