DUFFUS, Marianne Margaret

God called Marianne peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Fairhaven Nursing Home, at the age of 91. Loving wife of the late Charles J. Duffus (2000). She will be cherished and missed by her children David (Wendy), Debbie Horsburgh, Dorothy Duffus (Chris Porter), Denise Peter (Daniel) and Doreen Duffus. Predeceased by children Marybeth, Marianne, Damian, Desiree and Daniel. Proud grandmother of Jennifer Parry-Courtney (Doug), Jesse and Morgan Peter, Matthew (Donna) Goheen, Nicholas Goheen (Sade Clarke); Thomas, David and Jamie Horsburgh. Great-grandmother of Stephen Parry-Courtney. Daughter of the late Patrick and Elizabeth O'Toole. Sister of the late Bernard and Eileen O'Toole and the late Nan and John Karas. Remembered by her friends, neighbours, and relatives. Marianne lived a full life caring for her family, playing the piano and singing, reading, gardening and crafting. She will be truly missed. The family would like to thank the staff of Fairhaven's Riverside Special Care Floor One, for their outstanding care of our mother for the last three years.
