Suddenly at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Francis Joseph (Frank) Heffernan (May 9, 1991). Loving mother of Michael and wife Marg of Norwood, Anne and husband Dennis Driscoll of Ennismore, Mary and husband Richard van Laren of Kingston, Raymond and wife Doris and Marita and husband Clayton Royce all of Cobourg. Dear grandmother of Meaghan (Ben) and Melody Heffernan; Ryan and Erica Driscoll; Katrina, Chris and Michael van Laren; Anthony and Emma Heffernan; and Thomas and Elizabeth Royce. Dear great grandmother of Avery. Pre-deceased by her parents Arthur and Agnes Kieran(nee MacCafferty) and sister Cathy (Peter) Butler. Dear sister-in-law of Vince (Alice) Heffernan, Clotilde Quinn (late Gerry), Father Ray Heffernan and Cletus Sullivan (late Marguerite); Marie (Dick) Moher pre-deceased.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 (Parish Prayers 8 p.m. Friday). Funeral Mass in the CATHEDRAL OF ST. PETER-IN-CHAINS on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Bishop Doyle Knights of Columbus Hall.
