CROOK, Marion Irene Richardson
January 4, 1922 - April 1, 2013
Irene passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in the early hours of April 1, peacefully after a sudden, short illness. She will be sorely missed by her 3 children, John, Judith and Juanita. She leaves 4 grandchildren, Mary Patricia and Jeffrey, Martin and Eleanor, and 2 great grandchildren, Hugh and Zoey. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 68 years, Arthur, who passed away in 2010. In the final 3 years of her life, left to manage for the first time on her own, she revealed hidden strength and competence previously unappreciated. We will all miss your sweetness and love.


Funeral Mass was held at St. Alphonsus Church on Tuesday April 2, 2013 at 1:30 pm. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the British Columbia Cancer Foundation in Kelowna directed to the Breast Cancer Brachytherapy Program would be appreciated.
