Entered into the presence of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 in her 102nd year. Marjorie was born in Arbourfield, Saskatchewan on May 4, 1921. Coming East at 17 she met her future husband and they were married in Pembroke in 1940. She was the beloved wife of the late Reverend Lorne Krause and the loving mother of Sharon Pennell (Calvin), Helen Ripley (late Paul), Judy McConnell (late Brian), Barb Rothenbush (Jeff) and Brenda Alguire (Wayne).
Dear grandmother of Daniel Ripley, Wanda Lynne Munro (Blake), Joel McConnell (Alicia), Jessica Meyers (Royce), Lorne Rothenbush (Elizabeth), Isaac Rothenbush (Ashleigh), Katelyn James (Chris), Thomas Rothenbush, Sarah Stanley (Andrew), and Nathan Alguire (Kaitlin).
Dear great-grandmother of McKinley (Lara), Mikaela, Wyatt, Elya, Paul, Camille, Max, Reagan, Sophie, Jack, Annie, Lucy, Freddie, Leon, Oliver, Emerson and Ada.
Dear sister of Doreen Archer, Stan Lindsay, Gordon Lindsay, and Maurice Lindsay.
Pre-deceased by husband Rev. Lorne Krause, sister Irene McDerrmott.
Marjorie loved to serve. She spent her life in service as a Pastor's wife, mother, Sunday School teacher, visitation team member, Red Cross worker and as a good neighbour and friend. Her faith in God was vibrant and strong. She loved the Word of God and was a woman of prayer. She was well loved and will be well missed.
Visitation at CALVARY CHURCH, 1421 Lansdowne Street West from 10 – 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2022 followed by a Celebration of Marjorie's Life at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment at Oshawa Union Cemetery on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.. In memory of Marjorie, donations to Calvary Church Missions would be appreciated by the family.
