Peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Muriel (Anderson) for 60 years. Loving father of Michael (Elaine), Richard, Carol and Douglas all of Peterborough. Sadly missed by his six grandchildren Lora Lee, Melissa (David), Lindsay, Bill, Mark and Danielle and 6 great-grandchildren Adrian, Tristan, Cameron, Jacob, Rylee, Logan and Presley. Dear brother of Ellen MacAdam and brother-in-law of Arthur Anderson and Vera Hadley. Pre-deceased by his parents Daniel Crough and Loretta O'Donoghue, sister Teresa Crough, brother-in-law Cyril MacAdam, and sisters-in-law Anna Woods, Dorothy O'Neil, and Doris Trottershaw.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 6-8 p.m. Friday. (Royal Canadian Legion Branch 52 Memorial Service 5:30 p.m. Friday. Parish Prayers 6 p.m. Friday). Funeral Mass in ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 10 a.m. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow at St. John the Baptist Parish Centre.
