Peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Monday December 31, 2007 in her 70th year. Beloved wife of the late John William Dempster (February 26, 1997). Loving mother of John and wife Lenore of Innisfil and Alan and wife Mary Jane of Bond Head. Dear grandmother of Shelly, John and Krista. Dear gfreat grandmother of Chad, Courtney, Austin and Aidan. Dear sister of Colleen Kelly (late Norm), Ed and wife Kathryn, Mary-Lou Hogan (late Pat), Gary and wife Sandy, Patricia and husband Rick Moroz, Sally Scott, Fred (late Patti), Brian and wife Lorraine, Debbie and husband Kevin Martin and Jane and husband Jim Gill. Sister of the late Pete Garvey (wife Dorothy surviving). Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Edward John Garvey and Hilda Eileen Trotter.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday. (Parish Prayers 3:30 p.m. Thursday). Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church on Friday January 4, 2008 at 10 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Huntington Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
