Entered into eternal rest at St. Joseph's at Fleming on Sunday, March 11, 2007 in her 87th year, formerly of Ennismore. Beloved wife of the late Francis Joseph Swift (December 31, 2003). Survived and loved by her sisters Kathleen Johnston, Rita Hogan, Rose Hickson, and Gerard Heffernan (Anne), brothers-in-law George Swift (Angeline), sisters-in-law Marie Swift, Kathleen Steele, Agnes Swift, Anna Wallich and Jean Winn. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by her parents Francis Joseph Heffernan and Mary Ellen Burns, and sisters Helen Heffernan, Theresa Denham, Lucille McCarthy, brother Tom Heffernan, brothers-in-law John Johnston, Gerard Hogan, Jack Hickson, Jim Denham Jack McCarthy, Tom Swift, Owen Swift, Leo Swift, Kenneth Swift, Hugh Steele and sister-in-law Agnes Heffernan. Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.(Parish Prayers 3:30 p.m. Wednesday). Funeral Mass in St. Martin of Tours Church, Ennismore on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at 1 p.m. Her nephew Reverend Paul Hogan officiating. Interment St. Martin of Tours Cemetery, Ennismore.
