GARVEY, Mary Elizabeth (Berry)

Of Ennismore, Ontario entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Springdale Country Manor. She was born October 19, 1940. Mary was a devoted, hardworking, and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was well known for her smiling face and happy giggles for everyone she met. She will be joining her late husband Thomas Garvey of Manchester, England (1910 -1982). She is the daughter of the late William and Ellen Berry (Carr). Sister of John Berry (Carol). Mother of MaryEllen Foster (Ken), Pauline (Rev. Scott Young), and Michael (Michelle.) She will be missed by her grandchildren: Katie, Neil (Alison), Emma (Luke Hemingson), Noah (Morgan Sabo), Jacob (Carla Kucher) Foster, Lydia Young (Mike Proboszcz), Meghan (Joshua Peters), and Matthew (Joanna Sullivan-Doner), and great granddaughter Charlotte Foster. Mary was a proud member of the Catholic Women's League (CWL) for 63 years and a Associate with the Sisters of St. Joseph's for a number of years.

Visitation at  DUFFUS  FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 6-8 p.m on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at St Martin of Tours Church, Ennismore on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 11 a.m. with visitation from 10:15 – 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment at St. Martin of Tours Cemetery, Ennismore. Thanks to Dr. Kathleen Nichols and all the loving staff of Springdale Country Manor. A special thank you to Rev. Fr.
