ROWE, Marcelle - formerly O'Connor (Nee Leahy)

Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Drive on Sunday November 11, 2007 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late David Rowe (2007) and the late Fergus Patrick O'Connor (1983). Much loved mother of Karl O'Connor and wife Judy of Little Compton, Rhode Island, Kathy and husband Allan Cleary of Peterborough and Peggy and husband Michael O'Leary of Markham. Step-mother to Brian Rowe and wife Sophia. Loving grandmother of Mark O'Connor and wife Johanna, Cameron O'Connor and wife Ashley, Jennifer and Bill Cleary; Matthew, Megan and Kaitlin O'Leary. Dear great grandmother of Jack, Colin and Ryan O'Connor. Dear sister of Carmel Brown of Peterborough and Marie and husband Maurice Rivard of Markham. Pre-deceased by her parents Francis J. Leahy and Margaret Anne Corkery and a brother Vincent Leahy. The family would like to thank Dr. John Beamish for his support, care and concern shown to Marcelle, as well as Empress Gardens Staff for the excellent care they have given our mother.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. (Parish Prayers 7 p.m. Wednesday) Funeral Mass in the Cathedral of St. Peter-in-Chains on Thursday November 15, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Joseph Moran officiating. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Douro. Reception to follow in St. Joseph's Parish Hall in Douro. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
