Peacefully at Fairhaven Home, on Thursday, April 24, 2014 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Francis Vincent (Vince) Jackson (July 13, 1985). Loving mother of James and wife Nancy of North Carolina and their daughters Judy, Ruth (Scott) Sharpe, and Kathy (Mark) McBrien; Lawrence and wife Kathy of Newmarket and daughters Elisabeth (Michael) Nanowski and Hannah; Anne and husband Al Hawkins of Orleans and daughters Valerie (Brad) Nixon and Theresa; and Edward and wife Cathy of Oakville and children David, Heather and Laura. Dear great grandmother of Aimee, Andrew, and Grace. Dear great great grandmother of Matthew, Jack and Payten. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by her parents Lawrence Healey and Cecily Way, sister Margaret (Bill) Kinlin, and brothers Vincent (Lena) Healey, Father Walter Healey, and Justin (Cecelia) Healey. Nora was dearly loved by a large family. She was devoted to her catholic faith and received great support from the community of St. Anne's Parish and her neighbours. She was devoted to her family, always guiding them with sound advice and wisdom. Nora was a strong advocate for their education and was proud of their accomplishments. Nora loved all her family dearly and was dearly loved. Sincere thank you to Fairhaven WV4 staff, to Dr. Binette for many years of wonderful care and more recently Dr. Bell. Thank you to her caregivers Patricia McGuire, Joy Blakely, Sue Kelly and Pat Godbout who provided such loving care for many years.
