RUSSELLE, Mary Lydia (nee Facendi) in her 83rd year.
Beloved daughter of Mario and Virginia Facendi (pre-deceased). Mary passed gently to her heavenly reward on Monday, February 1, 2010.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a beautiful and gracious lady with strong values, deep faith, and rich in her Italian heritage. She had a flair for style, a happy, warm personality, a charming hostess and her domain was her kitchen. Mary cruised most of the world with her beloved husband Jack (over 60 years), and was fortunate to enjoy the last 27 winters in sunny Clearwater, Florida. She is survived by her loving husband John A. (Jack) Russelle, Ennismore, Ontario. Pre-deceased by her beloved first born son, John A. Russelle Jr. (1979), survived by her cherished son David A. Russelle, wife Monica, Kelowna, B.C., cherished daughter Catherine Mary Russelle, Atlanta, Georgia, cherished granddaughter, Tammy Francis (Michael), great grandson Surge Francis, great granddaughters, Amara Francis and Teresa Francis, all of Abbotsford, B.C., dear sister Rose Signorotti (Carl predeceased), Newcastle, Ontario, dear sister Irma Hogan (Carman predeceased), and dear brother Stanley (Florence) Facendi of Peterborough, Ontario. Dear sister-in-law to Chuck and Loretta Russelle, Jean and Jack Gallagher (both pre-deceased), Bill and Ruth Russelle, Carolyn Russelle (Ray predeceased), Mary and Dave Houston all of Peterborough, Ontario; Judy and Paul Crough, and Bob and Jean Russelle of Ennismore, Ontario; Hank and Joan Russelle, Dunham, Quebec; Dorothy and Ken Newburn, Perth, Ontario; Terry and Bonnie Russelle, Val Caron, Ontario. Mary is loved and cherished by her immediate family, siblings, brother and sister-in-laws and a multitude of cousins, nieces, nephews, and all their children whom she loved dearly.
At Mary's request there will be no visitation! Funeral Mass and Rite of Christian Burial will take place at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, Ennismore, Ontario on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 11 a.m. Celebrant, Rev. Damian Smullen, Pastor. Interment to follow at St. Martin's Cemetery. Reception to follow in St. Martin's Church Hall. In lieu of flowers those wishing to make a donation in Mary's memory to either St. Martin's Church, Ennismore, Ontario K0L 1T0, or Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care D-2 at 1 Hospital Dr. Peterborough, Ontario K9J 7C6, would be appreciated.
