SHANKLAND, Mary Teresa (née Merlo)
December 8, 1926 - June 7, 2016

Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in the early morning hours with family by her side. Beloved wife of Graham (deceased) and devoted mother of Robert (Debbie), Stephen (Jennifer), and Kelly (Kelly Anne). Grandmother to Sarah, Graham, Thomas, Andrew, Jesse, Dylan, Casey, and Charlotte. Great grandmother to Mika and Everly. Sister of Anne (Bob, deceased) Gough and Clare (Ron, deceased) Hansford. Predeceased by her brother Fred (Lila, deceased). Will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Mary loved her knitting and baking, and shared these gifts freely with others, both strangers and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 13 at 12 noon at SACRED HEART ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH in Peterborough (208 Romaine St), with reception to follow in the church hall.
