Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Friday, April 8, 2016. Beloved husband of Helen O'Connell (nee Finn). Loving brother of Louise Lally (Thomas) of Belleville, Don (Carol), Hugh (Adele), Fergus (Mary Ann) and brother-in-law of Frances all of Toronto. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Michael O'Connell and Irene Murray, sister Helena and brothers Thomas, Frank, and Bernard.

There will be no visitation. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the CATHEDRAL OF ST. PETER-IN-CHAINS on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. In memory of Michael, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
