Peacefully with his family by his side in his 90th year on Thursday, July 16, 2009. Beloved husband of Ruth Lewers for 60 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends for his kindness, caring and generosity. Beloved father of Lenore Carter (Wayne), Marilyn Nyrose (Harvey Sr.), Donna Cranley (Dan), Bernice Pineau (Michael), Karen, Carol Blondeau (Wayne), Leon (Janet), Paul (friend Kim) Lovingly remembered by 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his parents Francis Kelly and Amelia Murphy, son Wayne, daughters Darlene and Janice, sisters Mary Freeman and Rosalie McNamara, and brothers Thomas, Francis, Gerald and Gerard.

Visitation at the DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday. (Parish Prayers 3:45 p.m. Sunday). Funeral Mass in ST. ALPHONSUS CHURCH on Monday, July 20, 2009 at 10 a.m. Reverend Leo Coughlin officiating. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to the Five Counties Children's Centre would be appreciated by the family.
