Peacefully at Owen Sound on Thursday, March 12, 2009 in her 95th year. Nora was born at 166 Albert Street, Belfast, Ireland on November 21, 1914. Beloved wife of the late William Diamond. Loving mother of William (Sandra Barker), Colum Michael (Anne Leahy), Mary (James Corbett), Gerard (Isabella Schott), Anthony (Pauline) and Brendan (Laurie Goatham). Dear grandmother of Michael John Diamond (Regina Despot), Kevin Patrick Diamond (Cynthia Reynolds), William Diamond III (Natalia), Tara Diamond (Trevor McKenzie), Laura Corbett (Roddy Sergiades), Benjamin Diamond, Jennifer Diamond (Tom Dether), Ruth and Sara Diamond. Dear great-grandmother of Taylor Anne Diamond, Bailey Jean Diamond, Caitrina Dolly Diamond and Kendra Dether. Pre-deceased by her parents Michael Costello and Brigid McPhillips, sons Patrick and Finian, daughter Eithne, brothers James and Malachy Costello, and sisters Kathleen (Jack Rogers), Annie (Tommy McGarvey), Maureen (Patrick Cummins), Brigid (Joseph Smyth) and Josephine (Roddy McKiernan).

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 6-8 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church on Monday, March 16, 2009 at 10 a.m.. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Douro.
