YOUNG, Mary Olive (Nee Neill)

Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Saturday, January 9, 2010. Dearly loved wife of William John (Jack) Young (deceased November 8, 1974) and loving mother of John Francis Young (deceased April 25, 1970). Pre-deceased by her only brother John Francis Neill (1995) and by her sister Rita Mary Webb (February 26, 2009), and her cousins Reverend Monsignor Paul Letourneau and Patrick Letourneau. Pre-deceased by her parents Richard Neill and Mary Costello. Olive is survived by her two loving sons Paul Edward Young and his wife Elaine, and David Patrick Young and his wife Sheilagh Bourassa-Young. She leaves to mourn her loss, five grandchildren: Melanie Teitler (husband Ryan), Timothy Young (Gabriela), Alex, Nicholas and Danielle Bourassa-Young; also three precious great grandchildren: William and Lacey Teitler and Allison Young. She will be sadly missed by her sister Teresa Basciano (husband Andy), brother-in-law Donald Webb, and by her nieces Mary, Cathie, Susan, Anne, Joanne and Patricia and by her nephews Donald Webb Jr. Carl and Michael Basciano, cousins Paul and Norma Costello, Ruth Letourneau and Dorothy Gillies. The family wishes to express their most sincere thanks to Dr. T. Richard, the Access Centre and Pro-Home Health for the care given to Olive during these last few years.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 6-8 p.m. Monday. (Parish Prayers 7:45 p.m. Monday). Funeral Mass in the CATHEDRAL of ST. PETER-IN-CHAINS on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Reception following the Mass at the Bishop Doyle Knights of Columbus Hall across from the Cathedral. Spring Burial in the family plot at Our Lady of Good Counsel Cemetery, Young's Point. In memory of Olive, memorial donations to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation or to the Cathedral of St. Peter-in-Chains Perpetual Fund would be appreciated.
