Peacefully at Riverview Manor on Friday, April 24, 2009 in his 89th year, forrmerly of Chandos. Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and cousins. Pre-deceased by his parents Thomas Mahoney and Mary Hobbins, and sisters Elizabeth Mahoney, Rita Mahoney, Margaret Mahoney, Cecilia Allen and Reverend Sister Virginia, and brothers Joseph and Michael Mahoney.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-3 and 7-8 p.m. Tuesday.(Parish Prayers 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home). Then visitation at St. Mary's Church, Chandos from 10:30-11 a.m. Wednesday April 29, 2009 followed by Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Reverend Joachim Nnanna officiating. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Chandos.
