Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Gysbertus (Guy) Schevers (July 14, 2010). Loving mother of Patricia (Alex) Papp, Dianne (Joe) Sullivan, Sharon (Charles) Harwood, Shirley Vandebor, and Angela (Peter) Erdelsky. Dear grandmother of Melissa (Matthew) and Alexander (Stephanie); Joe (Lisa), Ryanne (Sean) and Katie (Dave); Stephen and Tanya; Cory (Meghan) and Tanner (Jessica); Mikayla and Matthew. Dear great grandmother of Jack and Emma; Sean; Annika and Ashlyn; Oscar and Sunny Jean; Radson; and Lewis. Dear sister of Cathy Halman and Greta Kays. Dear sister-in-law of Ann, Ria and Shirley Bos.  Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Wiebertus Bos and Wietske Kranendonk, son Johnny, and brothers John, Sebastian, Ben, Gerry and Robert Bos, and a sister Elizabeth Halman.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2022. Funeral Mass at IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery.  In memory of Jean, donations to Peterborough Pro-Life or the Youth Emergency Shelter would be appreciated by the family.
