Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Drive on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Rene Beaudoin (April 21, 1973). Loving mother of Peter and wife Karen, Terry and wife Sarah all of Peterborough, Yvonne and husband Robert Collins of Lakefield, Elaine Crawford of Halifax, Carol and husband John Edwards of Peterborough, Janet Van Tol of Trenton, and Norman of Peterborough. Dear grandmother of 23 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Annette Fleming of Peterborough. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by her parents Leopold Girard and Anna Mitchell and brothers Leo, Lou, Rene, Roland, Wilfrid, Art and Raymond Girard. Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday. (Parish Prayers 6 p.m. Thursday.) Funeral Mass in St. Alphonsus on Friday, March 9, 2007 at 10 a.m. Reverend Peter Conlin officiating. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer Society or Fairhaven Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
