Peacefully surrounded by her family at Springdale Country Manor, on Saturday, October 12, 2013 in her 85th year. Wife of the late Charles (Charlie) O'Brien. Loving mother of Pat (Renee), Chuck (Pam), of Peterborough, Monica (John) of Douro, Diane (Gary) of Calgary, Linda (Joe) of Red Deer, David (Corrine) of Calgary, Wayne of Toronto, Darlene (Phil) of Peterborough. Dear grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her parents John Ryan and Monica Whibbs, sisters Margaret Cleary, Teresa Fitzgerald and Mary Franks and brother Patrick Ryan. The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the exceptional care Rita received during her stay at Springdale Country Manor.
