CHAPMAN, Robert William (Bob)

Passed away peacefully in his 81 ^st year at Hospice with his loving family by his side.  He fought a courageous battle for many years with health issues always keeping a smile on his face and a keen sense of humour. Bob passed away on July 16, 2019.  Loving husband and soul mate of Barbara Marino for 58 years.  He will be lovingly remembered by his children Angie Chapman (Michael McCarthy), Donna Lister (Greg) and Bob (Margaret) all of Peterborough.  Cherished by his grandchildren Neena (Trevor), Kyle (Jayde), Zachery, Tori and Emilea and great grandchildren Zander and Violet. Dear brother of Beverly Harrison (Ray), Alma and Godfrey (deceased), Joan and Dave (deceased).  Brother-in-law of Antonia Rosebush (late Ward), Robert Marino (deceased), Dorothy Williams (late Len), Joanne Marino (deceased) and Patricia Damianopolous (Tom).  Predeceased by his parents Melville Chapman and Dorothy Mann.

In his quiet and steadfast way, Bob loved his family with all his heart providing advice and guidance with an unwavering moral compass.  His sense of order and precision was both legendary at home and at work, but always regarded as an endearing trait.  He will be missed for his charm and dry wit.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME , 431 George Street South, Peterborough from 10-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2019.  Funeral Mass will be held at SACRED HEART CHURCH on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 12 noon.  Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery.  In memory of Bob, donations to Hospice Peterborough would be appreciated by the Chapman family.  For information or online condolences, please visit www.duffusfuneralhome.com
