O'BRIEN, Thelma Yvonne (nee Crough)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Vincent O'Brien (September 30, 1998). Loving mother of Roger (Chris), Terry (Patsy), Tim (Lenore), Wayne (Brenda), Carl (Mary Ellen), Donna (Dave Murphy), Rick (Donna), Sandra Preston, Yvonne, Carmel Simmons (Bill Kehoe), and Mike. Dear grandmother of 24 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.  Predeceased by her parents Clarence Crough and Pearl May Kemp and brothers Fergus Crough (Ruth), Clarence Crough (Margaret), Carl Crough (Evelyn) and Cecil Crough, sister Dorothy Sexsmith (late Joe Sexsmith and Paul O'Brien) and grandson Jamie Simmons.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024. Funeral Mass at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery.
