McLEAN, Thomas Brian

Suddenly after a brief illness, Thomas Brian McLean passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in his 70th year.  Left to mourn his loss are his loving wife of 35 years, Rose (Van Dreumel) McLean, son Connor McLean and his children Rivers and Mira of Buckhorn, and son Patrick (Charlotte) McLean of Surrey BC.  He will be deeply missed by his sisters Carol Sinacori and Dianne (Dave) Montgomery.  Dear son-in-law to Cathy Van Dreumel, and brother-in-law to Anita (Louie) Podolinsky, Debbie Van Eyk, Jeff Van Eyk, David Grant, and Nancy (Bob) Bork.  Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Noreen (Delong) McLean, father-in-law Ted Van Dreumel and sister-in-law Jackie Grant. Tom was a much loved uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Tom graduated from Fleming College as a Cartographer and worked in Alberta and Ontario in the public service for forty years.  He was an avid outdoorsman and he and his family enjoyed many summers at Woodland Camp fishing, boating and tubing.  You would also find him on the bench helping to coach his sons in hockey. Tom loved to go for rides on his motorcycle and watch his favourite teams, the Toronto Blue Jays and the Edmonton Oilers.

Visitors will be received at the DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South, Peterborough from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.  A private funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
