Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care on Thursday, May 31, 2007 in his 91st year. Survived by his wife Alice. Loving father of Irene and husband John Jones of Lakefield, Leo and wife Diane of Peterborough, Audrey and husband Dave Watson of Hastings, Thomas and wife Helen of Cavan, Wayne and wife Diane of Keene, Mildred and husband Ken O'Brien of Douro, Mark and wife Faye, and Jake and wife Kathy of Peterborough. Beloved grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Robert of Lakefield, Lillian Murdock and Helen Shaw both of Peterborough. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his parents John McMahon and Mary Ann McMurray, sons Paul and Murray, sisters Margaret Gooley and Mildred Milne and brothers Jack, Leo, David, Frank, Dennis, Richard and Harry McMahon.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 1-5 p.m. Sunday. (Parish Prayers 4:30 p.m. Sunday). Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church on Monday, June 4, 2007 at 10 a.m. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens. Donations to Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation or PRHC, Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
