O'BRIEN, Vernon Colin (V.C. O'Brien Excavating and Trucking)

Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 in his  82nd year. Lovingly remembered by his wife Julie and his children Carolyn, Darlene, Jolene and Vernon Jr. (Samantha), Jenn (Rick) and Ryan (Carrie).  Dear brother of Colleen (Dolly) Kylie and Bob and wife Ruth. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren and  great grandchildren. Uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents James O'Brien and Anna Collins, sons Glenn and Michael and brothers Jim, Mel, Joe and Frank and sister Norma Roscoe.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME , 431 George Street South from 1-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. on Sunday, November 3, 2019. (Parish Prayers 4 p.m. Sunday). Funeral Mass at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CHURCH, OTONABEE on Monday, November 4, 2019 at  11 a.m. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery.
