In his 85th year, passed away peacefully at PRHC's Palliative Care Unit on Saturday, October 4, 2008. Vince was the loving husband of Barbara Longford and the late Mary O'Toole. He will be sadly missed by his children Anne Sedgwick (Len) of Norwood, Vincent (Ben) Dainard (Mary Lou) and Margaret Edwards (Kevin) of Peterborough. Vince is pre-deceased by his parents William Dainard and Marie Logan. He was the loving Grandpa of Peter, Kara, Molly, Paul, Katherine, Will, Sam, Mary Kate and three great-grandchildren. Vince will be lovingly remembered by Barb's family. Vince was a dear brother-in-law to Margie Shine and Ed O'Toole.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Service in the DUFFUS CHAPEL on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
