At Toronto General Hospital on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Alice Marie Heffernan (nee Hogan) for 45 years. Loving brother of Reverend Father Raymond Heffernan of Peterborough and Clotilde Quinn (late Gerald) of Oshawa. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and their families. Pre-deceased by his parents Thomas Heffernan and Julia Burns, sisters Marie Moher (late Richard), Marguerite Sullivan (late Cletus), and brother Frank Heffernan (late Marie).

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2014 (Parish Prayers 3:45 p.m. Friday and Ernest J. Wolff Knights of Columbus Council 798 Prayers 7:30 p.m. Friday). Funeral Mass in SACRED HEART ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 11 a.m.. Cremation followed by inurnment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Douro.
