McCABE, Violet Isabella (nee Kidd)

Peacefully at Extendicare Peterborough, on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of late John Dale McCabe (d. January 4, 2015). Loving mother of the late Marlene (surviving husband Doug Beasley), Kathy Hill (Rab), the late Michael McCabe, Patrick McCabe (late wife Patricia), Pauleen Goselin (Dan), Maureen Fowler (Bruce), and John McCabe. Dear grandmother of Nicole, Jason, Brandi, Michael, Monique, Joshua, Jessica, Jake and Brooke. Dear great grandmother of 11 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Malcolm (Pat) Kidd. Predeceased by her parents Bruce Kidd and Olive Robinson and sisters Beatrice Northey and Ruby Murray. Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday August 27, 2016 followed by Funeral Prayers in the DUFFUS CHAPEL on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 12 noon. Reception to follow in the Duffus Reception Centre. Cremation followed by a private family interment at St. Peter's Cemetery.
