Peacefully at Fairhaven Home on Saturday, January 5, 2008 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary Monica Corbett (December 30, 2003). Loving father of Joe Byrnes, Rob and Christine, and Sandy Byrnes; Marilee (Scott) Byrnes pre-deceased. Dear grandfather of Nicole, Michael, Jennifer, Daniel, Samantha and Melissa. Pre-deceased by his parents Thomas Byrnes and Mary McCann and brothers Thomas and Cecil and a sister Olive.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Service in the DUFFUS CHAPEL on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 10 a.m. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
